Bio
Michael grew up in small town Sanford, NC, where he attended Southern Lee High School as a 3 sport athlete (football, wrestling, and track). After graduation in 2012, he went to college in Danville, Virginia’s Averett University and played 4 years of football. After graduating in 2017, he stayed at Averett, obtained his USA-weightlifting level 1 certification and worked as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for all 12 NCAA teams at the time.
In 2017, he had the opportunity to go to Canada to play football in the CFL for a short time, and then moved to Germany to play 2 seasons in the GFL. Since coming back Stateside, he competes in Olympic weightlifting, and coaches both high school football and wrestling at North Brunswick High School.
